I'm single work at home mother, owner of several businesses and consultant for 3. I'm 44 and mom of 3 sons, Nathaniel (19), Christopher (17), and Benjamin (11), living in Colorado. I'm an Illinoisian, have lived all over the country and Guam, and well-traveled. I'm a proud US Navy Veteran (Cryptologic Technician), and have held several careers, some of which are government liaison, programmer, database specialist, public relations, events coordinating, living history, and am a novelist on an extended sabbatical. Currently, I'm a webmaster, programmer, and graphics designer, under my business Creative Designs & Technical Services. I love my sons dearly, and enjoy traveling, genealogy, and learning new things. I enjoy helping others whenever I can... particularly women who want to become work at home mothers themselves. WebMoms.com's mission includes having areas of information for issues of children, working in/out of the home, hobbies, education, internet, women's issues, family, etc. Adding continually to the resources on all kinds of helpful topics, including several Mailing Lists (including private-support-special topic lists) and a Bulletin Board which has forums on about every subject area,. Since my introduction to the internet 6 years ago, it has been a dream of mine to have a way to reach women and families in several areas. WebMoms is now that platform. There are issues that women need addressed where access to reliable help and information is sometimes scarce or approached from a textbook view rather than from the experience, understanding, or that which is applicable. I felt the need to help others from my own diversified past, and interests too. It is my hope to provide current, reliable list of legal work at home business opportunities and suggestions, in a cyber-world of scams. I have become an authorized retailer for Crabtree & Evelyn, one of the major fragrance companies, and sell the products at a lower price plus providing great money-saving specials. More importantly though, products are available from work at home mothers, either great homemade articles or items presented as consultants. More entries will be included on a continual basis to help work at home mothers have an outlet for their work... and to help families obtain products reasonably.
