Thanks for your patience during this time of reconstruction! WebMoms will be constantly under development to provide our users on the web with up-to-date information, helpful links, and uplifting stories, poems, and jokes. We would like to draw special attention to WebMoms Boutique as there are new shops that have been introduced. Also, I would like to ask that you take advantage of the links that have been placed there for companies offering products to help us. We will put a notation by the ones that we haven't had personal experience with. WebMoms' New OwnerI would like to first introduce myself, Anita Brown, as the new owner of WebMoms.com, which I obtained last year from Cheryl.I am 42, and the mother of 3 sons, Nathan (17), Chris (15), and Ben(10), and moved recently to Colorado, with my youngest. My other sons live in Maryland with their father, which is very difficult to have so many miles between us.Born in Chicago, Illinois, I have lived in many parts of the USA and it's territories, including Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida (*2), Washington, Guam, Maryland, and California. I'm a US Navy veteran; was a Cryptologic Technician. I have training and work experience in accounting, programming, database, public relations, living history, and am a novelist on an extended sabbatical. I am a webmaster and graphics designer now, and love my work so much that sometimes I've wondered if it's legal to have so much fun and call it work. :-)
WebMoms VisionI apologize for the long delay for getting this site operational, but if it's any help, I would like to add that I have big dreams for this site. Finding the time to bring the dreams to fruitation has been difficult, as a single unsupported mother, as I had to put my clients work before my own.One of the reasons why I felt the need to broaden the scope of WebMoms was because of my diversified past and interests. At times, while surfing the net over the last 4 years, I have become frustrated that there wasn't one place that I could find information or links or helpful opinions at one place... a home-base of sorts.Within WebMoms then, you will hopefully find just that, a home-base that you can rely on to find information or suggestions or hints for further searching. If there is something you are looking for, please let me know!
WebMoms now offers web space for personal, small or home-bases businesses without those annoying pop-up advertisements that are offered by some, and it includes an email address and page counters.
